Bayli Ferrin
Lead Teacher
Bayli is a dedicated and passionate educator with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (with a minor in History) from Utah State University and a Master of Education from Western Governors University. She began her career teaching third grade, where she quickly discovered the joy of helping young learners grow in confidence and curiosity. After a few years in the classroom, Bayli took time to focus on her growing family—an experience that has deepened her understanding of children and strengthened her commitment to education.
Krista Bertelson
Teacher
Krista is a passionate educator with a background in Spanish and Experiential Education. She has taught in diverse settings across the U.S., from fully outdoor Waldorf inspired and project-based schools to tech-integrated models, always focusing on student-centered, reflective learning. A mindfulness educator since 2014, she has trained teachers nationwide on practical use in the classroom. Outside of work hours, she enjoys camping with her family, exploring natural health, and is a lifelong learner. Krista is excited to join Seed School, where her values and experience align with its mission.
Mindy Peck
Teacher
Mindy Peck educates students by turning intellectual and emotional growth into hands-on adventure. As the eldest daughter in a family of ten, she learned early what it meant to work hard, care deeply, and lead with love. A lifelong book lover, she’s drawn to stories like The Chronicles of Narnia and Charlotte’s Web—tales where friendship, creativity, and perseverance bring hope and healing.
Bailey Hansen

Bailey grew up in Box Elder County, Utah, and proudly considers herself a small-town girl. After high school, she attended Utah State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. While she originally planned to become a school counselor, she discovered a love for teaching while working at a local elementary school — and hasn’t looked back since!
Madi Ellis
Teacher
Madi Ellis has been teaching for three years now and is very passionate about her career. She loves working with kids, watching them grow, and creating a classroom where they feel heard, valued, and free to be themselves. This year, she’s excited to teach 1st grade and help her students build a strong foundation for their learning journey.
Heather Gibby
Teacher
Heather Gibby brings over 17 years of early childhood teaching experience to Seed School as she steps into her new role as our Kindergarten teacher. She began her journey in education by earning an Associate’s Degree in professional Preschool Education from BYU-Idaho, followed by a Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. Most recently, she has continued to expand her knowledge by studying Nutrition Education at Weber State University.
Stephanie Neilson
Spanish Teacher (All Locations)
Stephanie recently relocated to Honeyville to embrace a dream she didn’t even know she had—becoming a small-town girl. She brings with her over two decades of Spanish language training, including 10 years of experience in the education field and 5 years specifically dedicated to teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to multilingual learners.
A certified translator and fluent Spanish speaker, Stephanie is passionate about using her bilingual skills to connect with and support others. She actively seeks opportunities to use her language abilities and is enthusiastic about sharing her love for Spanish with students.
Stephanie is thrilled to be part of the community and looks forward to inspiring a new generation of language learners through engaging, culturally rich instruction.
Melinda Bowser
Admin Assistant
Melinda joins Seed School as the Administrative Assistant with over six years of experience in elementary education. She graduated from Weber State University and began teaching in Weber School District. She has taught a variety of grade levels and is passionate about supporting both students and staff. Most recently, she spent a year homeschooling her own children, which gave her a valuable perspective on personalized learning and family involvement.
With a strong background in education and a commitment to helping schools run smoothly, she looks forward to creating a welcoming and structured environment for students, families, and faculty.
Outside of school, she enjoys playing the piano, gardening, baking with sourdough, and hanging out with her kids. She is excited to be part of the Seed School family and looks forward to building meaningful connections throughout the year.
