Morgan Cole

Cache Valley Director

Morgan and her husband are the proud parents of three adventurous boys, and together they enjoy exploring the world around them through shared family adventures. Morgan is excited to contribute to the vibrant learning community at Seed School and looks forward to the journey ahead. At Seed School, Morgan is dedicated to fostering strong collaboration between parents, teachers, and students to create a seamless connection between home and classroom learning. She is passionate about enhancing academic success through clear communication strategies that keep families informed and engaged. In addition, she will play a key role in supporting the team by helping identify essential learning targets and tracking student progress to ensure a meaningful, continuous educational experience.

Jaimee Shepard

Seedlings- Kindergarten/Lead Teacher

Jaimee Shepard grew up in Farmington, Utah. She completed her education at the University of Utah. She obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree, as well as her ESL endorsement. This will be her 9th year teaching, and second at Seed School. She has had the opportunity to teach grades k-4, with kindergarten being her very favorite! Jaimee believes in providing an inclusive, hands on, and positive classroom community. Her favorite thing about teaching is building a classroom community where students feel safe to have their “Aha!” moments when something new finally clicks. We love celebrating each and every success our class has.

Jaimee loves spending time with her family. She has a son, Miles, who is 11 and loves art. She also has a daughter, Tatum, who is 8, and enjoys playing on her travel soccer team. She and her husband, Steven, have been married for 13 years. Her family loves to spend time outdoors as well as traveling. Her favorite place to travel with her family is Disneyland. Her dream destination is to visit Fiji. She is looking forward to another fantastic year at Seed School!

Mallory Taylor

Sprouts- 1st Grade

"Mrs Mallary Taylor is excited to teach 1st grade at Logan Seed School. She earned her degree
at Western Governors University in Elementary Education. She has successfully taught
Kindergarten and is eager to begin Teaching 1st grade. Mallary is very excited to create a
strong classroom culture of community and kindness. She believes very strongly in the ability of
everyone to grow, learn and improve when they can believe in themselves. She is excited to
inspire young learners with hands-on inquiry driven learning. Mallary is a mom to 4 children
ages 2-6 and is very understanding of child development and social emotional learning. Mallory loves to learn new things and loves to create new things. Mallary can write and speak
Japanese with near native fluency. Mallary enjoys painting, drawing, knitting and crocheting."

Jaylin Nielsen

Buds- 2nd Grade

Jaylyn Nielsen is an elementary educator with three years of experience teaching first grade. She is passionate about project-based learning and creating meaningful, memorable experiences that inspire a love of learning. Originally from Oregon, Jaylyn recently moved to Utah and is excited to be part of a new school community. She is especially looking forward to teaching second grade and continuing to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in every student.

Samantha Bush

Willows- 3rd Grade

"Samantha is excited to join Seed School this year as a 3rd grade teacher. Although she is new to Utah, she is looking forward to exploring everything the state has to offer. Originally from Oklahoma, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and her Master of Education from the University of Oklahoma.

She is the proud mother of two daughters, who inspire her every day to continue growing in her understanding of education and child development. Their curiosity and love of learning fuel her passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for all students. Her family has also become a big sports family thanks to her husband's career in college athletics. They especially look forward to football and basketball seasons and are excited to cheer on Utah State's teams. They can't wait to attend their first Utah Mammoth game and experience the excitement of hockey together.

Samantha believes every child is capable of becoming a successful reader and is passionate about fostering a lifelong love of reading. She believes children learn best through hands-on, project-based experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. By creating meaningful learning opportunities that allow students to explore, discover, and make real-world connections, she strives to provide deeper learning experiences that build confidence, strengthen understanding, and inspire a love of learning that lasts well beyond the classroom. She is excited to partner with families and looks forward to a wonderful school year with the Seed School community."

Sierra Lyon

Aspens- 4th Grade

Sierra Lyon was born and raised in Cache Valley and is a proud Utah State University alumni graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Pedagogy. Sierra has been teaching piano lessons for over a decade and enjoys teaching children of all ages.
Most recently Sierra taught 4th and 5th grade at Seed School and is excited to teach 4th grade this coming year. Prior to Seed School Sierra was a homeschool mama to her three children and has developed a love of intentional, fulfilling education that fosters a love of learning that will last a lifetime. When she’s not in the classroom, Sierra loves to be with her husband and children
in the mountains or in the garden.

Hannah Williams

Oaks- 5th-6th Grade

Hannah Williams graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Elementary Education, and this will be her fifth year of teaching. Hannah is passionate about working with all students to help them discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop a genuine love of learning. She has a love for upper elementary students with most of her experience being in 5th grade. Some of Hannah’s favorite things about teaching include helping students find books they connect with, watching them succeed with challenging math concepts, and building an inviting classroom community.

Originally from Washington State, Hannah grew up on nearly six acres with horses, goats, and plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors. Those experiences sparked her lifelong love of nature and animals, which continues to inspire many of her interests today. She and her husband have two young children who keep life full of adventure and laughter. Hannah feels grateful to be part of a school community that shares her same values and looks forward to getting to know her students at Seed School.

Grace Mcdonald

Admin Assistant

Grace McDonald serves as the administrative assistant at the Seed School in Cache Valley, where she plays a vital role in supporting staff, students, and families. Often the first point of contact for visitors and parents, Grace is known for her warm welcome, professionalism, and commitment to creating a positive first impression of the school community.

With many years of experience in both office settings and educational environments, Grace brings a strong foundation of organization, efficiency, and care to her role. Her attention to detail and ability to multitask help ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly, allowing teachers and staff to focus on what matters most—student success.

Grace’s dedication and approachable nature make her an invaluable part of the Seed School team.

Emily Ryan

Spanish Teacher

Emily Ryan teaches Spanish using her own play based learning curriculum, drawing on her experience as a behavioral therapist. She learned Spanish living in New York City as a volunteer missionary.
Outside the classroom, Emily enjoys going on adventures with her husband and playing with her dog Nugget.
