Jaimee Shepard
Lead Teacher
Jaimee Shepard grew up in Farmington, Utah. She completed her education at the University of Utah. She obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree, as well as her ESL endorsement. This will be her 8th year teaching, and first at Seed School. She has had the opportunity to teach grades k-4, with kindergarten being her very favorite! Jaimee believes in providing a hands on and positive classroom community. Her favorite thing about teaching is watching her students have their “Aha!” moments when something new finally clicks.
Jaimee loves spending time with her family. She has a son, Miles, who is 10 and loves to build his own video games. She also has a daughter, Tatum, who is 7, and enjoys playing on her travel soccer team. She and her husband, Steven, have been married for 12 years. Her family loves to spend time camping outdoors as well as traveling. Her favorite place to travel with her family is Disneyland. She is looking forward to a fantastic year at Seed School!
Bailey Reinecker
Teacher
Bailey Reinecker grew up in a small town in Montana. She has always been passionate about reading, making art, exploring the outdoors and learning new things. She attended the University of Montana Western, where she was the recipient of the College’s “Outstanding Teacher Candidate” award in 2024. She worked full time while attending college and has had experience as both a Teacher's Aide and a Teacher over the past 5 years. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-K-3rd Grade: Early Childhood Education in 2024. Bailey has spent the last two years teaching Kindergarten-4th grade in a country schoolhouse in Montana. She loves to laugh, enjoys teaching songs and games to her students and is especially passionate about creating a safe, fun, learning environment where students can be creative and express their learning through hands-on projects and activities that foster their growth both as individuals and as students.
Ashlee Davis
Teacher
Ashlee Davis holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education and brings a wide range of classroom experience to Seed School. She has worked in multiple grades as a student teacher and classroom aide, supporting students through one-on-one interventions, small group instruction, behavior support, and academic testing. She is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued.
Ashlee loves incorporating creativity into her teaching through hands-on projects, movement, and storytelling. Her favorite part of teaching is watching students grow in confidence and discover their unique strengths.
Ashlee has four wonderful children who inspire her daily. Her two favorite titles are “mom” and “teacher,” and she feels incredibly lucky to be both. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and continuing to grow as an educator.
Sierra Lyon
Teacher
Sierra Lyon was born and raised in Cache Valley and is a proud Utah State University alumni graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Pedagogy. Sierra has been teaching piano lessons for over a decade and enjoys teaching children of all ages.
Recently, she has been a homeschool mama to her 3 children and has developed a deep love of intentional, fulfilling education that fosters a love of learning that will last a lifetime. Sierra is excited to bring her unique teaching experience and enthusiasm for learning to this year’s Seed School faculty.
Stephanie Neilson
Spanish Teacher (All Locations)
Stephanie recently relocated to Honeyville to embrace a dream she didn’t even know she had—becoming a small-town girl. She brings with her over two decades of Spanish language training, including 10 years of experience in the education field and 5 years specifically dedicated to teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to multilingual learners.
A certified translator and fluent Spanish speaker, Stephanie is passionate about using her bilingual skills to connect with and support others. She actively seeks opportunities to use her language abilities and is enthusiastic about sharing her love for Spanish with students.
Stephanie is thrilled to be part of the community and looks forward to inspiring a new generation of language learners through engaging, culturally rich instruction.
Grace Mcdonald
Admin Assistant
Grace McDonald serves as the administrative assistant at the Seed School in Cache Valley, where she plays a vital role in supporting staff, students, and families. Often the first point of contact for visitors and parents, Grace is known for her warm welcome, professionalism, and commitment to creating a positive first impression of the school community.
With many years of experience in both office settings and educational environments, Grace brings a strong foundation of organization, efficiency, and care to her role. Her attention to detail and ability to multitask help ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly, allowing teachers and staff to focus on what matters most—student success.
Grace’s dedication and approachable nature make her an invaluable part of the Seed School team.
