School will be held Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Thursdays will be 10:00 am - 3:00 pm for our Secondary 6th-9th Grade Students only.
In addition, any field trips scheduled will also take place on Fridays for all students.
ABOUT CLASSES
Seed School focusing on academics with Nature, Mindfulness, Life Skills and Play in mind.
Classes will have up to 12 students per class. Grades may be combined in different variations depending on enrollment. We may have one full Kindergarten class but combine 1st and 2nd or 4th and 5th. You will find out more of these details as we get closer to school starting.
We want your student to be in the right place. If they excel in math and need more support in reading, we will accommodate as needed. Each Class will have a home room teacher that will be focusing on Math and LA. Each class will have an opportunity to learn from other teachers in areas including Spanish, Art, Music etc. Our staff is full of passion, creativity, and so much love.
Hands-on learning is a huge part of Seed School- activities may include Service Projects + Emotional resilience + A Library + Class Campouts + Life skills + Field trips + Park Days so many fun things! Book club, weekly movement class, self led passion projects, service projects, student led clubs, fun hands on experiments, school garden, school play, or performance entrepreneurial fair, and so much
Parents will be required to be involved leading their child in At Home Learning on days they are not in school.
We will have a sign up sheet for all parents to join a parent committee. Parent committees, field trips, parties and more.

What is Seed School: Seed School is a Hybrid Microschool devoted to Nature, Mindfulness, Individuality and Hands-on Learning. All of our subjects will be taught through these four very important principles. Our Hybrid Microschool Model combines face to face learning and at home supplementation. Parents must commit to completing the supplementation material that will be provided by teachers and mentors for the days students are not in school.
Exciting things at Seed School this Year:

3 Day Learning (K - 5th): In order to provide better in-depth learning over core subjects, we have created an educational format that is a condensed 3 day in-class-learning and a 2 day at-home-learning experience. This structure integrates mindfulness and nature hour into the core subjects on a daily basis. The at-home-learning part of our hybrid program will be a part of your child’s curriculum and parents will receive support and the education materials needed to help you succeed. We will also provide Spanish, Music, and Art as separate subjects during the days in class. Field Trips will be held on Fridays.

Secondary Program (6th - 9th): We are excited to grow our program with our 9th grade curriculum! Our secondary program follows the same educational format as our K-5th, with the addition of a 4th day where students will experience an in-depth study of core curriculum with specialized teachers and student-led learning experiences through Seed Pods (see above). We plan to continue to add grades each year to accommodate your children’s education and future career goals.

Mentors: We will have 3 Educational Mentors this year so we have a full time mentor at each location! Their job at the Seed School will include tracking student growth/progress, parent progress meetings, supporting teachers with the education curriculum, and supporting parents with the at-home portion of the Hybrid Learning Model.

Administrative Assistant: In addition to our teachers, each Seed School location will benefit from an Administrative Assistant to support teachers, parents and students outside the classroom during school hours.
