  • What is your school all about?
We are all about planting the love of learning! Using creativity, curiosity, and play to accomplish just that. We founded the Seed School with a clear purpose: to reimagine education. Driven by a commitment to nurture a love of learning and plant the seeds of knowledge, we prioritize individual growth and create a secure, supportive environment. Our mission is to empower students and families, offering a transformative educational experience that celebrates diversity, fosters creativity, and places each child at the heart of their learning journey. Through a hybrid model that combines flexibility, personalized attention, and active parental involvement, we aim to redefine education for the better, cultivating a future where every student can thrive and bloom academically and personally
  • What will I do with my child after 6th grade?
Exciting news we are going to be adding a secondary program so your child would be able to attend all the way through 12th grade.
  • Will my child stay on grade level?
At Seed School we prioritize the individual growth of each student. Your child can skyrocket and excel beyond grade level. Or if they need more time or a slower pace we will do that too.
  • How can parents be involved?
We will have parent committees that each parent will be encouraged to be a part of. Including- class parties, green house help, in class help, field trips, school play and more. We have the flexibility to co-create this experience. If there is something super important to you, let us know and we can see how we could implement it, plan a field trip around it or have you come in and teach about it!
  • What will need to be done at home? Will they get all they need at school?
Yes they will. We will hit all subjects but encourage you to read and do whatever is best for your family. Use the extra days at home to learn together! Teachers will be in touch with any work that needs to be done at home. If a child needs a little extra help we will ask that you spend some time in that specific area at home.
  • How many students are in each class?
Between 8-12 We believe in keeping the class sizes small so that each child gets the attention needed.
  • What curriculum do you use?
This year we have used, “Logic of English” for our Language Arts and IXL for Math. Other subjects will have individualized curriculum to help enhance creativity, play, and curiosity.
  • Can I call someone and ask all the questions?
Yes please email us and we would love to contact you!
  • How is this program different than public school?
Our program has many differences including small class sizes, shorter hours, less days and fun unique subjects including; Nature Hour, Individual Learning time, Life Skills and Spanish.
  • What funding is available for Seed School?
Only one can be used at a time: Utah Fits All Scholarship ($8,000 per year) MyTechHigh ($2,000 per year) Harmony ($2,000 per year)
  • Will my child have homework?
Periodically the students will bring home an at-home project to work on. But regular homework is not a part of Seed School. Parents are encouraged to read with their children daily and supplement learning where they see fit. Our Teachers and Parents will work together if there is a concern for a concept in their child's learning.
  • What is your grading structure like?
The goal for our grading is to show completion of work. Rather than A-F grading structure, our teachers provide a Portfolio Based Approach. Throughout the year, selected student work will be compiled in a Portfolio and shown to the parents as the Evidence of Learning.
  • Will my child stay on Grade Level?
The goal at Seed School is that children stay at or above Grade Level. We recognize students grow/develop at their own pace, so whether a child is behind or above our learning environment is conducive/supported.
  • What are the teachers' qualifications?
At Seed School our teachers are passionate educators that are wonderful with children. Teaching experience and licenses vary depending on the teacher. All Teachers have been vetted through fingerprinting and background checks to ensure the safety of our students. They each have been selectively chosen to be the perfect fit for Seed School.
