Maddi Jones
Seed School Director
Maddi is one of the visionary co-founders of Seed School and is thrilled to welcome you to this inspiring community. A proud mom of four, Maddi is deeply passionate about creativity, mindfulness, delicious food, and intentionally creating a life she and her family love.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Dance alongside fellow co-founder Shalese, and together they opened a dance studio—where the first seeds of Seed School were planted. What began as a dream quickly blossomed into one of the greatest blessings of their lives.
In addition to her background in the arts, Maddi holds certifications in life coaching, sound therapy, color therapy, and inner child healing. She brings this unique blend of experience into her work with both children and adults, helping individuals discover and embrace who they truly are. Seed School was built to be the perfect space for that kind of growth and discovery.

Shalese Kapp
Seed School Director
Shalese Kapp is a passionate educator, proud mom of three boys, and co-creator of Seed School. She and her family live on a small farm where they enjoy all things outdoors—gardening, traveling, and sharing delicious food together.
Shalese earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Weber State University in 2012. She began her career teaching English and Dance at Ogden High School, where she taught for three years before stepping away from traditional academics to focus on raising her young children. Over the past decade, Shalese has continued teaching in the world of dance, building strong connections with her students and a deep love for the dance community.

Alicia Noorda
Seed School Financial Manager/ Music Teacher
Alicia Noorda brings a unique blend of financial expertise and musical passion to her roles at Seed School. As Finance Manager, she ensures smooth financial operations with a keen eye for detail and a love of organization. In addition, Alicia shares her lifelong love of music as the music instructor at the Bear River Seed School, inspiring students’ musical growth, creativity, and appreciation. She is dedicated to helping students find joy in making music and mastering music skills.
Alicia holds degrees in Piano Pedagogy and Office Support Systems from Utah State University. She began studying piano at the age of nine and continued through college, developing a deep understanding of both performance and teaching. For over 20 years, she has managed a successful private music studio and overseen the operations of her husband’s self-employed insurance business.
An avid reader and a natural organizer, Alicia is passionate about creating environments where learning and creativity thrive. Her dual expertise in finance and music makes her a valued member of both the administrative and educational teams.
Morgan Cole
Seed School Mentor
Morgan and her husband are the proud parents of three adventurous boys, and together they enjoy exploring the world around them through shared family adventures. Morgan is excited to contribute to the vibrant learning community at Seed School and looks forward to the journey ahead. At Seed School, Morgan is dedicated to fostering strong collaboration between parents, teachers, and students to create a seamless connection between home and classroom learning. She is passionate about enhancing academic success through clear communication strategies that keep families informed and engaged. In addition, she will play a key role in supporting the team by helping identify essential learning targets and tracking student progress to ensure a meaningful, continuous educational experience.
Rebecca Cain
Teacher (Bear River)
Rebecca brings a lifelong passion for education and a unique perspective to her role as Lead Teacher at Seed School. She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Education and has years of hands-on experience both inside and outside traditional classrooms.
Before joining Seed School, Rebecca homeschooled her own children for 7 years, drawing on her own experience as a lifelong homeschooler. This background gives her a deep appreciation for individualized learning and a flexible, student-centered approach to teaching. Her time at Seed School last year further enriched her commitment to nurturing young minds.
With a love for hiking, camping, cooking, natural medicine, reading and writing her own poetry and stories, Rebecca brings creativity, curiosity and joy to the classroom. She is deeply inspired by the opportunity to help shape the next generation of leaders and believes every child deserves to feel seen, supported and empowered to grow.
Jessica Allen
Teacher (Bear River)
With 12 years of elementary teaching experience, Jessica brings a deep passion for literacy and student engagement to Seed School. She began her career teaching third grade before transitioning to second grade, where she has spent the last decade honing her craft. For the past eight years, she has specialized in the English side of a Spanish Dual Language Immersion program, teaching English Language Arts to 60 students daily and reinforcing math and science concepts taught in Spanish.
Jami Godfrey
Teacher (Bear River)
Jami Godfrey brings over a decade of experience in academic support, administration, and customer service. Known for her warm, dependable nature and strong organizational skills, she is passionate about creating positive, supportive environments where students and staff can thrive. Jami loves helping students feel seen, valued, and empowered to reach their goals. Outside of school, Jami enjoys life on a hobby farm with her husband. She’s a proud mom to four daughters and a joyful Mimi to one sweet grandson. She finds happiness in the outdoors—gardening, hiking, camping, and paddleboarding—and cherishes any chance to spend time with her family. Jami is excited to be part of Seed School, where she can continue making a meaningful difference through connection, care, and kindness.
Stephanie Neilson
Spanish Teacher (All Locations)
Stephanie recently relocated to Honeyville to embrace a dream she didn’t even know she had—becoming a small-town girl. She brings with her over two decades of Spanish language training, including 10 years of experience in the education field and 5 years specifically dedicated to teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to multilingual learners.
A certified translator and fluent Spanish speaker, Stephanie is passionate about using her bilingual skills to connect with and support others. She actively seeks opportunities to use her language abilities and is enthusiastic about sharing her love for Spanish with students.
Stephanie is thrilled to be part of the community and looks forward to inspiring a new generation of language learners through engaging, culturally rich instruction.
