Samantha is excited to join Seed School this year as a 3rd grade teacher. Although she is new to Utah, she is looking forward to exploring everything the state has to offer. Originally from Oklahoma, she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and her Master of Education from the University of Oklahoma.

She is the proud mother of two daughters, who inspire her every day to continue growing in her understanding of education and child development. Their curiosity and love of learning fuel her passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for all students. Her family has also become a big sports family thanks to her husband's career in college athletics. They especially look forward to football and basketball seasons and are excited to cheer on Utah State's teams. They can't wait to attend their first Utah Mammoth game and experience the excitement of hockey together.

Samantha believes every child is capable of becoming a successful reader and is passionate about fostering a lifelong love of reading. She believes children learn best through hands-on, project-based experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. By creating meaningful learning opportunities that allow students to explore, discover, and make real-world connections, she strives to provide deeper learning experiences that build confidence, strengthen understanding, and inspire a love of learning that lasts well beyond the classroom. She is excited to partner with families and looks forward to a wonderful school year with the Seed School community.
