Planting the Love of Learning
Our program nurtures a lifelong love of learning by engaging students in meaningful, hands-on experiences - connected to nature, guided by mindfulness, and strengthened through shared responsibility between home and school.
Our Mission

Four Pillars of Seed School
At Seed School our goal is to provide each child with an enriching, rounded academic education that will prepare them to reach their potential.
The academic journey should be a partnership between teachers, parents, and the student. Students who are taught by invested parents and teachers to take responsibility for their own learning will be prepared to understand and contribute to anything that sparks their interest throughout their life.
Academics
Hands-On Learning
We believe children learn best by doing—by engaging their minds, bodies, and curiosity together. True understanding happens when students are active participants in their learning, not passive recipients of information.
In a world that often emphasizes worksheets and screen-based learning, we intentionally return education to what works best for children. Hands-on learning honors how God designed children to learn—through exploration, creativity, and experience. .At Seed School, hands-on learning is not an “extra.” It is a foundational approach that helps children deeply understand concepts, connect learning to real life, and develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and personally.
Nature
Nature is at the heart of Seed School. We take learning beyond the classroom walls, inviting students outside as often as possible to experience education the way it was always meant to be—connected, grounded, and alive.
Outdoor learning boosts cognitive function. Studies show that children learn more effectively, retain information longer, and exhibit fewer behavioral challenges when lessons take place in natural settings. Movement, fresh air, and open space allow the brain to reset and engage more fully.
Mindfulness
At Seed School, we believe education should nurture the whole child. Mindfulness is a core part of our classroom because learning does not happen separately from emotions, stress, or a child’s inner world. Mindfulness at Seed School means teaching children to understand themselves from the inside out.
Through emotional regulation, children learn that their feelings are not something to fear or suppress, but something to acknowledge and manage with confidence. These are lifelong skills that support both academic success and personal well-being.

Testimonials
"The seed school is such a blessing!!! Truly, an answer to our prayers. Public school was not for us and we tried the exclusive homeschool route but that wasn't quite right either. We love the fact that he gets both the group school and homeschool experience in one. The education he gets is so great plus extracurriculars and field trips. He loves going to school and loves his teachers. The environment there is so uplifting and supportive. We feel so grateful to be a part of the seed school community!"

"Taking the leap to leave public school and join the Seed School was a hard decision to make. We are so glad we did it. Our kids are home more, happier, and still get to have a school experience. Seed School has given us the opportunity to be more involved in what our kids are learning, and to have more experiences outside of school. The Teachers are so kind and easy to work with. They enjoy what they are doing, and it is obvious that they really love being there with our kids. It is also a joy to be with other families who want the same things we do . We love Seed School!!"

“The Seed school has been an answer to our families prayers. Our child was showing signs of having major anxiety in traditional school settings and we were at a loss of what to do . The Seed School has helped them to feel safe, confident, while learning and growing into who they are meant to be. We are excited to see the future of this program and are looking forward to being a part of it!"

"My Daughter spent three years in a charter school system, every day taking her to and from school. I felt anxious. The environment at that school wasn't something I was thrilled about, she was losing confidence in herself and she hated going. I didn't want to pull out of the charter without a solution. I was torn as a parent about what to do for my child. When I heard of Seed school I couldn’t wait to learn more. We made the decision to make a change and it's showing. Since Seed School, my daughter is more confident, she has improved so much, we are closer as a family. I’m unbelievably grateful to have made the switch in my child's education. We love Seed School!!"

The Flexibility, the fun, the safe atmosphere, the small class sizes, and amazing opportunities have sold us. My kids come home more curious and creative + my daughter actually loves to read now. My son has blown past second grade math and will finish 3rd grade math and Start 4th grade math in 3rd grade next year. It has really been the perfect balance for our family. I cannot wait for next year!!!"

"My kids have LOVED The Seed School this year. They have loved the wonderful teachers, close friends, and fun field trips. I used to fight my kids daily to go to school, and now they can’t get enough. I love how involved I get to be as a mom and all the extra time we get to spend together.
